I received my Master of Education in Counseling from Seattle University and my Bachelor’s in Sociology from University of California, Santa Cruz.
I specialize in working with teens, families, and adults of all ages. I believe that establishing a trusting, therapeutic relationship makes it possible to heal from issues creating distress and interfering with one’s personal goals and ability to create lasting and healthy relationships. I have experience in counseling individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, stress, trauma, grief, family conflict, and adjustment, identity, and relationship issues.
My approach to therapy is both eclectic and person-centered and includes training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Informed Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), and Contemporary Gestalt training.
I view therapy as an opportunity to work collaboratively to identify those problems needing repair and to create a treatment plan and goals for the future. I am currently providing these services through Telehealth therapy. Telehealth services are provided through HIPAA compliant video conferencing.
